QBSW Initial Quotas

QBSW Initial Quotas is intended to generation and management of initial quotas (warrants) for the line ministries and to overview their appropriations. Quotas are used for periodic release of funds from the Treasury to the line ministries and from the line ministries to the spending agencies by type of expenditure. Quota give authority to process payment request up to its amount.

QBSW Initial Quotas addresses the following processes:


Key features

Treasury Administration uses QBSW Initial Quotas application to define initial quotas for the line ministries based on the budget revenue forecasts. Created initial quotas are further communicated with QBSW Budget Management application to be accessible to all organizations for distribution to subordinate organizations and adjustment.

The initial quotas are created in a process starting from unallocated amount of appropriations. Its result is a set of initial quotas which are transferred to QBSW Budget Management application to enable their spending.
