The Financial Management Information System is a project of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Serbia, European Agency for Reconstruction and Hewlett-Packard as a prime contractor, introduced to optimize management of public finances, support financial policy objectives, maintain liquidity and debt of state with minimum cost, and streamline and secure public payments.
Project was realized by consortium of Hewlett-Packard (HP) with participation of HP Slovakia, together with QBSW and others suppliers. Role of HP in implementation phase was to integrate system consisting of software modules, computer techniques and network infrastructure. Integrated FMIS is successfully running since 3.1.2008 and there is registered more then 900 users, whose have processed more than 5 million payment transactions by the QBSW applications per a budget year.
